Error in AQWA: “Element centroid position is before the 1st MSD station position”

Hello there,nnWhile solving the diffraction problem of a floating cylinder in AQWA, an error appeared:nElement # 318 centroid position at -30.000 is before the 1st MSD station position at -29.791.nnI looked up ''MSD Aqwa'' and I got this from the Reference manual:n''MSD -- ASCII file defining the mass distribution of a vessel. Used by AGS for shear force and bending moment calculation.''nnAnyone has an idea of how to solve this? n

Hello,nIf you do not need to calculate shear force/bending moment results in the Hydrodynamic Diffraction calculation, you can work around this by turning off 'Calculate Shear Force/Bending Moment' option in the Part details (at the bottom of the details list).nMiken

Hello, nAlternatively, if you want to access the shear force/bending moment, then you can create your own MSD file where the stations include the whole of your structure.nIngridn

. Thank you for your answers! Mike's method worked, and I'll be sure to try Ingrid's if I ever need to access shear force/BM.n
