Error for Flow at an angle to the interface for multiple reference frame technique.

I am using multiple reference frame technique to define my domain which has a stationary and rotating domains. I am trying to study the effects of angular flow on rotating components. The inflow is at an angle to the front face of the interface which has resulted in generation of a wake artifact of the rotating domain when there is nothing placed in it (rotating domain) (see, Image 1 and 2). The boundary condition for the inner rotating domain are only interface conditions as frozen rotor (since this is steady state run) and no pitch change. To confirm the problem, I ran a case where the rotating domain and the flow are at an angle to inlet place thereby perpendicular to each other (see, Image 3) which resulted in no wake artifact being formed. Image 4 is the baseline case for the case where the rotating domain and flow are perpendicular to each other and the inlet.

Did anyone else face a similar issue. Can someone suggest what I can do to avoid this
