I was running an simulatioin in fluent and after clicking the run calculation, i recieved an error message saying :

Error: / (divide): invalid argument [1]: wrong type [not a number]

      Error Object: -inf.

Can some one please tell me how to solve this ?
This is my first time using fluent so i dont really have any experience regarding anything

Something somewhere isn't set appropriately. What did the solver report in the several lines above that?

I sort of fixed it, i was referring a youtube video for the analysis and deleted the mesh conditions which was added in the video and ran a default mesh to check if it was something regarding the mesh (a suggestion from chatgpt) and when then procceded, it solved without any errors (but would have terribly impacted the accuracy of the values, i guess).
I think a reason might be that i was just experimenting with the software and my model/ geometry was not exactly the same dimensions as his so adding the same mesh condtions as his might have caused the error (there were a few edge sizings and a face meshing).
Can you just tell me what the practicalmeaning of the error is ? and are there any resources which i can refer to learn more ?

Possibly. If you apply semi-random numbers to a model odd things can happen.

The error is an output, ie it's telling us the maths has failed. If you scroll up there's usually some more text which gives more information. What you've posted could be the result of a divide by zero or that a panel has an unexpected value in it.
