Hello,
I've been trying to solve an error that keeps occuring when I run an impact simulation (projectile on structure).
So far, upon Googling the issue, I have tried to work with Analysis Settings --> CPU and Memory Management --> Memory Allocation, and increasing the number there. However, this error keeps appearing.
I then assumed it might be boundary conditions or contact points causing an error, so I suppressed them all in an effort to parse out what specifically is going on. Suppressing contact points and fixed supports resulted in no change.
What might be the issue?
Thank you,
J Monsey

Please try increasing the memory. Note that memory in ls-dyna is defined in terms of "words". 1 word is 4 bytes for single precision and 8 bytes for double precision solver.Â
Please see here (https://innovationspace.ansys.com/forum/forums/topic/how-to-increase-the-memory-size-in-workbench-ls-dyna/) for a similar question and resolution.Â
