energy dissipation

  hello every one
  
  is there a direct way to visualize or calculate energy dissipation in open channel flow simulation that happened over low gravel dam in fluent cfd, i want to calculate energy dissipation that given by this equation E= y +V^2/2g ,

  You can create a custom-field function for that equation use the appropriate surface integral operation to get the required value.
