SubscriberHello,
I would like to analyze the elastoplastic behavior of a 3D-printed structure. I need to consider the elastic parameters and Hill's yield parameters to simulate the anisotropic property using Workbench. The elastic parameters are EXZ = 2,076.9 MPa, EY =1,677.1 MPa, v_XZ = 0.28, v_XY = 0.4, GXY = 613.7 MPa and the Hill's coefficient are given below. Then, I calculated the coefficients of D using these parameters and inserted the tab for the anisotropic property.

Ansys Employee,nYou should specify a hardening model (like bilinear/multilinear isotropic etc) along with the yeild criteria (hill surface). Check out https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v194/ans_mat/amp8sq21dldm.html. You could use the command in example 4.4 along with the hills model.nRegards,nIshan.nHow to access online help - /forum/discussion/3978/how-to-access-the-ansys-online-helpnViewing 2 reply threads- The topic ‘elasto-plastic behavior of a 3d printed (Steriolithography) structure’ is closed to new replies.
