SubscriberHello,
I was doing a eigenvalue buckling analysis to find the first buckling mode. The static structural part works well, but it fails to solve the eigenvalue buckling part.
The solver output demonstrates following warning messages:
SUBSPACE CALCULATION OF UP TO   1 EIGENVECTORS.
 NUMBER OF EQUATIONS        =       76830
 MAXIMUM WAVEFRONT         =          54
 MAXIMUM MODES STORED      =           1
 MINIMUM EIGENVALUE          = -0.10000E+31
 MAXIMUM EIGENVALUE         = 0.10000E+31
 CENTER EIGENVALUE          = 0.00000E+00
Local memory allocated for solver           =    61.549 MB
Local memory required for in-core solution    =    58.710 MB
Local memory required for out-of-core solution =    24.705 MB
Total memory allocated for solver           =   238.981 MB
Total memory required for in-core solution    =   227.885 MB
Total memory required for out-of-core solution =    96.285 MB
 *** NOTE ***                           CP =      7.109  TIME= 13:23:45
The Distributed Sparse Matrix Solver is currently running in the      Â
in-core memory mode. This memory mode uses the most amount of memory Â
in order to avoid using the hard drive as much as possible, which mostÂ
often results in the fastest solution time. This mode is recommended Â
if enough physical memory is present to accommodate all of the solver Â
 data.                                                                 Â
 *** WARNING ***                        CP =     11.016  TIME= 13:23:49
There are no solutions in the selected range.                         Â
 *** NOTE ***                           CP =     11.016  TIME= 13:23:49
There are no modes in the specified range.                            Â
 *** NOTE ***                           CP =     11.016  TIME= 13:23:49
There are no modes in the specified range.               Â
How could this problem be solved?
Thanks.

SubscriberHello HZ776
Â
same here for me. Sometimes it is working but sometimes not. Especially when I run models with a Load multiplier less then 50. Tried different solver, like in the manual Direct and Subspace.
