[Sam Fares]

Hi All,

i drew a hole so i can able to pull a slot out of it. i selected the axis of the hole as instruction say. The pull arrow is down. i tried to click on the edge to change direction to be parallel to z. I am not sure why i am able to pull a slot. Thanks!

If you mean you are able to pull a slot, can I ask if the blue component has been Activated in the Structure tree? Also, it does not look like you correctly Alt-selected an edge pointing in the Z direction. You can either activate the Direction toolguide, or Alt-select it *and if should highlight in blue*

i was clicking on the edge without clicking on pull direction. My mistake. i was able to do a slot earlier on the other side, but when  i tried to do it on this  side i didn't click on the pull direction.
