SubscriberHello everyone,
I am simulating a process as described below:
(1) Solid particles fall down (simulated using DPM).
(2) Heat is applied to the solid particles, causing them to melt (DPM with melting and solidification).
(3) Liquid particles (droplets) fall into the liquid pool (melt from solid pool) (VOF).
(4) Droplets merge with the liquid pool and then solidify.
Can all the above processes be simulated in Fluent? Which models and options should be enabled?
Thank you so much!

Forum ModeratorYes, but it won't be easy, and you may need to do a lot of UDF coding.Â
