Hello,
I am modeling a steel plate to which I am incident solar radiation. My question is if in this screen, if I filter for example the wavelength of the visible spectrum (380-780 nm). In direct solar radiation should I enter the w/m2 of the entire spectrum and FLUENT is responsible for filtering those w/m2 of the band?
Or, Should I enter the w/m2 of the band already filtered? in this case, 479 w/m2.
I would appreciate your help, please, as I don't understand what fluent does from behind.

This should be for the entire spectrum. Please note: depending on the combination of radiation and solar models you use, you may either have to specify the non-gray bands to cover the entire solar spectrum or just specifying one single band would suffice (Fluent will automatically cover the entire solar spectrum in such cases). For additional details, please refer to the user guide link below.

Sorry, I don't understand when you say "cover the whole solar spectrum", the bands you filtering or cover?
I think if I filter, for example, the visible spectrum wavelength band (380-780 nm), I should enter 479 w/m2 which is the amount of solar radiation in this band in an "AM 1.5 ASTM G173-03 reference spectral". But I am not sure if I enter in the direct solar irradiance 900 w/m2, FLUENT will filter out the 479 w/m2 in this band. This is my question...i attach image that i want to filtering:
My doubt is, What i introduce in the box of solar direct irradiation? 900 w/m2 or 479 w/m2? Flut cuts the grafic?
