SubscriberI am a beginner in Ansys and am trying to design a microfluid network. I imported my file in .dxf format in spaceclaim. When I use the command fill and specify the thickness, will the software create a solid/ extrusion of the closed channel profile of the given thickness? If not please help me understand what the fill and extrude commands actually mean and the difference in their funtioning.Â

Forum ModeratorMaybe. It'll depend on the geometry. If you can use a different import option as dxf can be unreliable. You may be better off building the model in SpaceClaim from scratch if it's fairly simple.Â
