Hello LSDYNA communityDo structures in the fluid domain have to be coupled to ICFD? I recently made a DEM-ICFD coupled model. There is a baffle structure for DEM particles in the fluid domain. Because of this structure I want to couple with DEM, but I don't want the structure to disturb the fluid motion. I would like to let the fluid pass freely through the structure, is it possible to realize it?

Hello Chan,
To have an FSI interaction between the ICFD fluid and the structure, you need the following keywords:
*ICFD_CONTROL_FSI
*ICFD_BOUNDARY_FSI
If you don't include the above keywords in your model, the baffle structure should not interact and influence the ICFD fluid.
You will find video tutorials on ICFD FSI here:

And on DEM coupled with ICFD:

To couple the DEM particles to the ICFD fluid, you need to following keyword:
*ICFD_CONTROL_DEM_COUPLING

Let me know how it goes.
