SubscriberHow can we minimal constrain a model in Discovery Live?
Thanks.

For a meaningful structural analysis, at least one load and one boundary condition is required. The "Supports" tab consists of all the available boundary conditions that are required to constrain the model. Generally, one of these support options is mandatory for producing stresses:
However, the most suitable minimal constraint (one among the various support types) depends on the loads that are being applied. If you can please elaborate a bit more about your requirement/application, I will be in a position to provide a better suggestion.
Thanks & Regards,

SubscriberIn ANSYS Mechanical you can apply displacement constrains in 1 node/vertex in only 1 dof. How to do that is DL?

Displacement constraint is exposed in Discovery Live and can be used to constrain translation DoFs. But unlike Mechanical, the displacement constraint in DL can only be scoped to a surface.
Though applying the constraint on a point is not allowed directly, small surface can be generated around the desired point/vertex and can be used to apply the constraint, as a workaround.
Further, as Mesh is not exposed in DL, it is not possible to make a nodal/elemental selection for any further use.
Thanks & Regards,
Gaurav
