Hello. I am trying to design a 2D FE model of BLDC motor as shown in figure 1. I have excited the windings with an external circuit (figure 2). The switching signals for the voltage controlled switch have been implemented based on back emf curve six commutation points. I am getting a distorted current shape for model depth (stack length) 52.75 mm as shown in figure 3. But a decent current shape for model depth of 53 mm( figure 4). How to resolve the issue for figure 3. Please Help.

Hi junaed.buet,
Reduce the nonlinear residual to a smaller value in the solution setup for the first case and check.

Thank you Navya. I followed your instructions. However I did not find any change in the current shape. I am attaching the screen shot of current shapes for different  nonlinear residual in the solution setup. Kindly let me know if I have made any mistakes or is there any other way to resolve my problem.
