SubscriberHello everyone,
I am studying a piezo transducer in harmonic response and I have multiple questions.
(1) I want to observe the directional deformation of the superior face of the material. I have created a path (with construction geometry) along which I can easily observe this deformation and export it. However, I am working at a given frequency and I would like to be able to export the same data (deformation along the path) for a full deformation cycle (ANSYS is capable of showing the user the way the surface moves at that frequency but I only have access to a single "moment" of the deformation cycle). I suppose that this information can be accessed since the user is able to "play" an animation of the deformation at any given frequency. I have already tried to create an all sets result but this only gives the deformation at every frequency.
(2)The question that I am also wondering is if the displacement along the path could have a different phase at each point due to the mechanical losses of the material. So on top of extracting the deformation values for the full cycle (as I explained in (1)); I would also want to have access to the values of the phase at each point for the directional deformation, or maybe even be able to export a table of complex values for the deformation along the path I defined.
Context : I am working on ANSYS Workbench 2020 R2, I drew half of the system and then defined an axisymmetric symmetry and have a meshing of 4e-4m. I am also working at 200kHz. I choose the harmonic response to simplify the study as much as possible. And I am also using the PiezoandMems extension to define the piezo body of my model which is a simple disc.

SubscriberUpdate : I have found the macro MAPDL function that produces the animation but I do not know how to get the data it uses. It's the ANHARM macro that uses complex values for the deformation (x = Xre+i*Xim) and I would like to get Xre and Xim along the path for each frame produced by the ANHARM macrofunction.
Any ideas?

If the Macro has saved the data on the Path then you can plot the items Xre and Xim separately.
