Dear all,
I am simulating a solid conductor in 2D FEM in Ansys maxwell for inductance value in eddy current solver.
ANSYS: excitation= 1A current,
Boundary: VectorPotential = 0
Mesh = Length based
frequency =Â 1kHz to 1MHz.
Â
I am performing the same experiment in COMSOL multiphysics but getting different values of inductance. can you help me to figure out the error in simulation??

Hello, there are many reasons could contribute to different results:
Are the geometry identical in both simulation?
Is that full model or partial model? If partial model is used, did you use any symmetry boundaries? Did you setup symmetry multiplier?
Are the material propertities the same?
Do you have eddy effect on both simulations?
Do you use Litz wire model?
Did the simulation converge in Maxwell?
