SubscriberHi everyone,
Â
After completing the solution, I can exploit the results on the body.
But how can I determine the area of a region with stress (or any result) greater than the predetermined value?
For example, the figure below is the stress result of one face, I want to calculate the area of the region with stress greater than 80MPa.
Is this possible?
Â
Thank you.

SubscriberHi,
Â
Thank you for your help.
But that way only visualize the region greater or less than a result, can not get area value of it. I want to get area value.
Ex, original surface have area = 100m2. On it, 1/4 region have stress greater than 100 --> the value I get = 100/4=25m2

SubscriberSee engtips fea AnPham - this is the best I can come up with and absolutely valid from an FEA point of view (so edit:thin membrane shells are often used to get better surface stresses on 3D parts, made of bricks)
