SubscriberHello all,
I'm running a transient simulation in Fluent and I want to define a non-constant fluid inlet temperature.
My inlet temperature depends on the temperature of a cell zone and I know what the inlet temperature should be at different temperatures of that cell zone. I need Fluent to interpolate the inlet temperature between the ranges and not change abruptly (which I could even do manually).
For example,
At 650°C of cell zone, inlet temperature = 100°C,
At 600°C of cell zone, inlet temperature = 80°C,
At 500!C of cell zone, inlet temperature = 55°C,...and so on.
Thank you! -

Ansys EmployeeHi,
I recommend creating a UDF for inlet temperature.
For more details, please refer to fluent customization manual: 1.3. Defining Your UDF Using DEFINE Macros (ansys.com)
If you are not able to access the link, please refer to this forum discussion: Using Help with links (ansys.com)
Thank you
