SubscriberHi! I am using Fluent to simulate oxygen diffusion in aqueous (assumed liquid) spheroids. I am looking to define a constant rate of depletion for oxygen inside the fluid domain to represent oxygen consumption by the cells that would be seeded in the spheroid. It's just one constant in terms of M/s. Is there a way to represent this in the Reactions panel?
Only oxygen would be involved in this 'reaction' and the source of oxygen is a wall boundary condition of fixed O2 concentration.
Thanks!

Forum ModeratorIt's more usually done via a Source term in the cell zone settings. You'll need to remove oxygen mass and species at the same rate. Expressions can also be used to link the depletion rate to "something".Â
