Defining 2 different young’s modulus for the same material: one for compression and one for traction

      Hello,

I'm working with glass fiber reinforced polymer which has two different young's modulus value according to the manufacturer. The compressive elastic modulus is 15600 MPa and the Tensile elastic modulus 20800 MPa.

How do I set both values for the same material, given the condition for each of them?

Here follows the frame with the parameters sent by the manucturer:

HI, Ansys doesn't have a material that supports different Young's modulus in tension and compression directions. You will either have to model it as two different materials or use Response Function (a hyperelastic material model) as an approximation.n
