Hi, I'm wondering if someone can help me out with this.
This is cross-section temperature data in a transient thermal analysis at a specific time.
However, if I go further into the layer interface,
solution show in diff temp.
the heat flux turns off after time = 0.0005230121(s), but it still rises, which is not reasonable.
Could this be caused by the mesh? (I use hex mesh)
Any suggestions will be helpful. Thanks!

Hi
Can you show me how you defined the Heat flux data and other boundary conditions? share the screenshot of the analysis setting?

Could it be because even after the heat flux has been turned off the heat in the model is still redistributing. The high temperatures are being conducted down the model?

You're right. After checking, it turns out that the high temperature at the top keeps transferring to the lower temperature area at the bottom even after the heat flux stops, which is why the sound continues.
Thanks a lot. I guess I asked a silly question.
