Damping coefficients and MSUP harmonic analysis

      Hi everyone,

I'm carrying out a MSUP harmonic analysis with damping coefficients (introduced as "Ns/m" values in a ground-to-surface connection) and a damping ratio as well.

Is it possible to make both of the damping work on the MSUP harmonic analysis? As far as I have seen, the damping coefficientes are not participating in the analysis.

      Thanks in advance!

      Hi,

We can use the element damping (Ns/m) in MSUP harmonic analysis. However, in modal analysis, you have to use a Reduced Damped solver.

      Hi Ankush,

It worked out very well. Thank you very much indeed.
