Hello, I try to model concrete. I test the material model mat084: Winfrith.
When I open the d3crack file then I get the messagae:
not valid
I have tried it with training-examples and downloaded demo-examples, alwaysthe same message.
I use Solver R12.0 on a Windows64 machine. I start the file with LS-Run1.0 with adding Q=d3crack. I do postprocessing by LS.PrePost 4.7
Where is my mistake. Can anyone help?

Hello, are you opening d3crack file directly in LSPP? You may have to load the d3plot database first and then select File > Open > Crack file to open the binary crack database.Â
(or) you can open the database using the execution command below,
lsprepost d3plot q=d3crack
Please use the latest LSPP build (4.7 is quite old).Â

Hi, thankyou for your answer.
first I load the d3plot and then the crackfile by File/open/Others/Crackfile.
I tried your advice to open both files by execution comand.
I have also updated LSPP (to 4.11.12).
Unfortunately, nether of these helped.
