Can anyone kindly check and fix the problem in this file? - "https://ansys13.ansys.com/AnsysInnovationCourses/MBU/HeatTransfer/HeatTransferOverview/SE02ThermalAnalysisOfHeatPot.zip"

      Steel pot on a stove

I just downloaded from innovation course and tried to rerun it. Nothing was changed, but I get error like - "An internal solution magnitude limit was exceeded. Please check your Environment for inappropriate load values or insufficient supports.  Please see the Troubleshooting section of the Help System for more information. An internal solution magnitude limit was exceeded. (Node Number 2021, Body Solid, DOF TEMP) Please check your Environment for inappropriate load values or insufficient supports.  You may select the offending object and/or geometry via RMB on this warning in the Messages window.  Please see the Troubleshooting section of the Help System for more information."

      Hello,

Thanks for sharing this. This model was updated but looks like the change is not reflected. We need to check the same and will let you know. Meanwhile following are the changes needed:

Change in convection values and surfaces:

Change in magnitude of internal heat generattion:

Apply these changes and see if the model works.

      Regards,

      Ashish Khemka

Thank you, its working, but the image from the reference is not quite simillar. It would be better if you update the file as you intended to teach. Finally, personally I think the pdf file that was attached with the content should bear some extra information also for better understanding.

        Thank you.Modified ImageOriginal Image
