SubscriberI am doing a transient analysis for a planar inductor. For excitation I am pushing those from simplorer. I have correct loss and permittivity curve for core material. However the losses are way high. what could be the reason ?

Ansys EmployeeHello,
Please plot the core loss on the model to see if it high for overall model or just for certain spots. If it is for overall model, please check if your excitation waveform is correct, then pick a point to check its flux density and see if it is reasonable. If the core loss is only high for certain spots, please increase mesh density at those regions.
