cooling behaviour in transient thermal

Hi, im triyng to do a heat transfer simulation.

my problem is that the heat transfer seems not to be working.

I have a cube at 60 ° C (this one with 5 faces insulated) and another at room temperature with the other 5 faces with convection.

I Add an apdl command file and then use the IC command for the initial temperature in both cubes:

      IC, part_1, temp, 60

      IC, part_2, temp, 22

As you can see from the picture, the heat is not transferred to the other cube. I acctually use contact mach, but still, every time i use the apdl the "perfectly insulated" stopped working. (i even try "coupling" beteween the two faces in contact

,nCould you try increasing the thermal conductivity value of the upper block? Maybe the heat transfer in lower block (convection) is much faster than the upper(conduction), so you are not noticing a difference for lower time values. Also, could you change the contact to bonded and see if it makes any difference?.Regards,nIshan. n
