Hi, I have an old file many years old that contains a composite laminate structure defined with lay-ups in the SHELL91 element type. I am in APDL 23R2 and thus SHELL91 is a deprecated element type and I am unable to run an analysis on this model. Unfortunately this model has thousands of nodes and defined materials/elements so I can't just restart from scratch and build the file again. Is there any way to convert these SHELL91 elements into SHELL281 or a similar element type that I will be able to run an analysis on. Any thoughts are appreciated, thank you!
