Ansys EmployeeIt might mean that the heating source is too strong, eg, heat power is too high or current is too large, or the optical generation is too large. Since heat equations are linear, I would suggest to reduce the source strength. In addition, you can change the mesh size.
Not converge means that the gradient of the temperature is still too large. You can also increase the number of iteration (but this method may not always work).
Usually the simulation region is very small, so it cannot handle too high the temperature. But the high temperature is from the source (and the boundary). By default, the boundary is insulated if you do not add proper boundaries.
