SubscriberHello,
I'm trying to see strain values from an impact simulation with a ball impacting on a plate. However, the equivalent plastic strain shows a constant value during the impact. Can anyone help me to solve the problem?

Ansys EmployeeHi As a start, I would suggest you check the 'Stiffness Behaviour' of Geometry. If the behaviour is 'Rigid', set it to 'Flexible'.
This will enable the Explicit Dynamics solver to capture the complex Non-linear behaviour and deformations.

SubscriberHello Vigneswaran Thank you for your reply. The 'Stiffness Behavior' of geometries is already in the 'Flexible' mode. Can I ask if there's any other things that I need to check?
Thank you Ara
