Hi all. When we extract the beams, we get lines. How can I connect beams with their bodies after creating the mesh?
Red - line, beam
Black is, for example, a square pipe that has become a line, but if you build a mesh it looks like a pipe again
Blue - how to set this contact?
Can I set this contact by highlighting the grid nodes?

Thanks for the answer. But this doesn't suit me.
Look, initially we have two solids, these are two beams. We extract rods (beam elements) from them and they become lines. Now that we have created the mesh, they will again look like beams as before the drawing. Now these beams need to be connected behind the walls, how to do this?

Hi Javat,
If you have extracted them as beams, then these are not actual faces for which you can create a contact between them. If you want to create a contact between the two beams, then you have to select these two line bodies to create a contact.

This is my question. Is it possible to create a contact on phantom faces? If I create a contact on line elements, the contact won't see it. Make a large pinball radius?

Hi Javat, You need actual faces to create contact between them. These faces cannot be used for creating contacts. You can create contact on the lines; they will work fine.
