Hello Everyone,
I'm attempting to model condensation in a 2D domain with source and sink terms. Vapor, along with some water acting as seeds, is introduced from the source region, and after condensation, both vapor and water should be sucked out through the sink region. I've defined mass, momentum, and energy source terms for both the source and sink regions using 'Named Expressions.' However, I'm facing challenges as there's no apparent condensation observed in the domain. I've initialized a water level to facilitate suck out of water through the sink region initially.
Though I am placing the sink term outside the water level and not defining any sink term for water, I'm still observing water being sucked through the sink region when using the Volume of Fluid (VOF) method. Additionally, there's a gradual increase in temperature at the source region.
Can you please help me to solve these problems?
Thank you for your time and help.

Hi,
Can you please share more details related to the boudary condition, models you used and their setting, material properties you entered for the simulation and how you define the source terms using named expression? So that it will help to diagnose the issue faster.
Thank you.

Thank you for your reply.
I am trying to simulate condensation in 2D domain by source term and using both VOF and Eulerian-Eulerian method.
The boundary conditions are: constant wall temperature, vapor at 373.15k and water as seed at 373K coming through the source region.
I am writing the expression for source and sink term in "Named Expression" and using these expression in the source terms under "cell zone conditions."
