We have an exciting announcement about badges coming in May 2025. Until then, we will temporarily stop issuing new badges for course completions and certifications. However, all completions will be recorded and fulfilled after May 2025.

Components transferred from siwave to hfss are missing

I am exporting from Altium to Siwave as EDB. All the resistors, capacitors and inductors that I have transferred here are visible without any problems. However, when I export from Siwave to HFSSE, most of the components are not visible. What is the solution to this?

HFSS Classic being a MCAD assembly based solver, it does not support R, L and C as lumped Circuit elements as done in SIwave or HFSS 3D Layout. You would need to define the components as RLC boundaries applied to sheets at the respective locations of the lumped components. Alternatively, you may import the EDB file into AEDT directly and use HFSS 3D Layout for your simulations.

hello, that's not what I mean, I know that I need to assign rlc lumped ports in hfss classic, yes.
When I say export to hfss 3d from siwave, a terminal based lumped port is automatically created for rlc components.
You can see this in this video.
these ports need to be created automatically. Sometimes it creates automatic ports, sometimes it doesn't. I wonder why it doesn't create lumped ports in some rlc components? I want it to create automatic lumped ports for rlc components.
