SubscriberHello,
Â
I have been trying to load a UDF into a Fluent case but have been coming up with this error:
Â
Error: The UDF library you are trying to load (libudf) is not compiled for parallel use on the current platform (win64).nnThe system cannot find the path specified.
nnC:UsersmanjarrhFLUENTlibudfwin642d_hostlibudf.dll
Error Object: #f
Â
I have tried opening Fluent through the x86 VS command prompt window, checking that there are no spaces in my path or file names, checking that my script has no errors in it, and setting my working directory. None of these have fixed this problem.Â
Â
I am using Ansys v194, Fluent 2019 R2 and Visual Studio 2019.
Â
I have searched through many other posts about this but have not found a solution yet that works for me.
Please help!
Â
Thank you

Forum ModeratorUsing VS 2019 may cause a problem (I can't remember which version supports it). The error above likely means the UDF has not been compiled due to problems with the VS install/configuration. Have a look in the Installation section as this has been answered before.Â

AdministratorPlease try to install a lower version and see if that alleviates your issue. Also, if you are trying to compile using Fluent 2020R2, please check if you are able to use the 'Inbuilt Compiler' for compiling your UDF.nThanks.nKarthikn
