SubscriberDear all,
I have the 2019R3 version and I installed the 2020R1 without uninstalling the 2019R3. I wanted to do so in case something did not work, then I could just uninstall 2020R1 and get back working on the 2019R3. FYI, I installed it in another folder.
My question is: is there some compatibility issues doing so?
I'm asking this 'cause I tried running a project with Fluent 2020 R1 and i was not able to import a geometry from Spaceclaim (2020R1) to Fluent: here the screenshot of the problem.

Forum ModeratorGiven I currently have 8 versions of Fluent installed I doubt that's the issue. nCheck the path for spaces, commas and associated odd characters (ie anything that's not an English letter, number or - _ ). I find mapped drives also cause issues with the Fluent Meshing CAD reader too. nMarch 8, 2021 at 4:20 pmgioeleg
SubscriberThanks for your answer.nI think that something went wrong with the CAD configuration manager when doing the installation. I solved reinstalling everything.nViewing 2 reply threads- The topic ‘Coexistence of two different Ansys versions on the same PC’ is closed to new replies.
