SubscriberI need to simulate an UDS with fluid dynamics equations, but it need to use the SIMPLE algorithme FOR my UDS and COUPLED for the fluid equations (separatly) since it is not possible in FLUENT R1 2021 how can i do for solving this probleme ?nI compute the UDS explecetly (by using I/O UDF) but this method cost a lot of time , i ask if it will possible in the next versions of FLUENT ?nBest regards thankyou !n -

Forum ModeratorCheck the theory for pressure based coupled solver, I think pressure & velocity are coupled, some of the rest of the equations aren't. n -

SubscriberI observe that Fluent solve all equations together since the number of iteration augmente when I add my uds the computational matrix augmente nAnd in my simulation I want to use the simple algorithm for my uds and coupled for fluide equations (pseudo transient) when I solve my uds by this algorithm it give me unwanted result so I think that the solution here is :nFluent let the possibility to compute each equation separately with proper algorithm and matrix in same session.nOr I export the solution from other session of fluent i.e I lunch fluent for the fluid in part and I lunch fluent session for my uds with simple algorithm in other part where the result of this later will be exported like a source term for fluide equations.nPlease help me nBest regardsn -

Forum ModeratorThe UDS isn't solved as part of the coupled section https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/account/Secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v211/en/flu_th/flu_th_uns_scheme.html nAs I don't know what you're trying to do it's difficult to suggest anything. If a scalar is being incremented every iteration it tends to suggest the logic is off somewhere or you're using the wrong macro. n
