You can check the *DAMPING cards available in LS-DYNA. See the manual: https://lsdyna.ansys.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/LS-DYNA_Manual_Vol_I_R16.pdf For example, *DAMPING_GLOBAL can be used to apply a damping factor for the whole system. Alternatively, you can employ *DAMPING_PART to apply damping to specific parts of the model.
