Chiral medium on FDTD

I need to make a uniform chiral medium with a plasmonic nanostructure on my FDTD model like the photo attached below (cholesteric structure) to see its circular dichroic properties. But I cannot find a way to make it to a uniform medium like a type of material properties.

Do you have an idea of it?

      Hi Sunghwan,

Thank you for reaching out to us! Have you checked on the Object Library where we offer different structures? Maybe the helix might fit your case:

      Kind Regards,

Thank you for your reply. But I just wanted to know how to make a simple solid media with circular dichroism, for example, an anisotropic refractive index medium. Is this the only way, making a geometrically twisted structure, to make a chiral medium on FDTD?

      Hi Sunghwan,

An alternative could be to create your structure on a CAD enviroment and import it as an STL file: STL import - Simulation object

      Regards,

      Niki
