I need to make a uniform chiral medium with a plasmonic nanostructure on my FDTD model like the photo attached below (cholesteric structure) to see its circular dichroic properties. But I cannot find a way to make it to a uniform medium like a type of material properties. Â
Do you have an idea of it?Â

Thank you for your reply. But I just wanted to know how to make a simple solid media with circular dichroism, for example, an anisotropic refractive index medium. Is this the only way, making a geometrically twisted structure, to make a chiral medium on FDTD?

Hi Sunghwan,
An alternative could be to create your structure on a CAD enviroment and import it as an STL file: STL import - Simulation object

Niki
