Chemkin requires HPC

My students have been using Chemkin for a few years but our University license is no longer good enough because Chemkin wants to call HPC resources which aren't part of the University license. When using V232  everything works on our Linux and Windows PCs. This problem started when we switched to V242

      Hi Phil,

It says unsupported, so can you check expiration date of licenses? also the license manager should be of v232 or higher to use v24x application on client end.

-5 error means you don't have license.

There is no HPC license with the UNIVERSITY package. Our licenses are fine. If I run V232 CHEMKIN works fine.

V242 doesn't work because CHEMKIN make calls to HPC. I need the University license to include HPC licenses or be able to turn HPC off for CHEMKIN

ANSYS created this problem by getting CHEMKIN to make calls to HPC...which we don't need.

Give us some HPC licenses to fix the problem you created or tell us how to turn off the calls to HPC.

      Hi Phil,

Can you please  set the ‘Number of Parameter Study Runs to Run in Parallel’ to 1 and re-run your case.

We tried your suggestion...HPC licenses were still checked out. Did you want me to try it without the HPC licenses in the license file?

      Hi Phil,

It seems like there is some issue with chemkin, developers are checking into it. Will let you know if there are any updates.
