I am wondering whether it is possible to save checkpoints in ANSYS Mechanical. If so, where can we find these checkpoints, and how can we load them if the analysis abruptly stops?

Dear Zihan,
Ansys Mechanical has restarting capabilities. To activate those you can do under Analysis Settings 15.1.5. Restart Controls (ansys.com).Â
You can check here also for more info 17.5. Using Solution Restarts (ansys.com)Â

Dear Lydia,Â
Thank you so much for your feedback! I found that "Solution Restarts are supported in Coupled Field Analyses, Static Structural, and Transient Structural analyses only." in https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v241/en/wb_sim/ds_solution_restarts.html. I am wondering if there is any other approach for restarting a transient thermal analysis.
