SubscriberHello everyone!
I have a mesh to simulate multiphase flow in a pipe. When I change the number of divisions of Edge Sizing in the axial direction, all mesh change too. In one of the figures (more refined one) I put 100 divisions and in the other mesh has 200 divisons, see the figures bellow.
These changes do not make sense, because I just change in the axial direction.
May anyone help me?

SubscriberWhat do you have for a control on the radial portion of the mesh? Is there a parameter relationship set up between the two mesh controls that changing the axial size adjusts the number of divisions (or something similar) on the radial part? Maybe the intention was to keep the aspect ratio constant or something. Also take a look at the finer mesh. At the end of the inflation layer, this is a larger cell than the freestream cells. Do you have a fixed first layer thickness and a constant maximum number of layers and growth rate? This could be the cause of that.-

SubscriberHello NickFL, thank you to answer my post!
A friend of mine just corrected one option to set: Capture Curvature = yes (default of Fluent), I set No and the problem that I mentioned no longer occours.

Answering your questions:

I put Number of Division.

I did not set it, but the Capture Curvature was doing this work.

I set just the number of layers.
Â
Thank you again.
