SubscriberHello
Does anyone know the python script macro which changes the directory name of a system on ANSYS workbench via command line. For example, the selected geometry/mesh system in the image below has a directory name ID of "SYS". Is there a way I can change this to a different name such as "Rotor". This will streamline an automation process I am working on.
Thank you
Jett

Forum ModeratorThe directory name is read-only. You can not change it with the script. You can change the DisplayText to whatever you want.
To understand how display text is changed, try recording a journal and see the APIs there.
