Hello,
For a hinge joint, the free degree of freedom is always the joint x axis. To set the hinge alignment, you should use (b), i.e. the Axes Alignment options under the Joint Axes on Structure A and B. It is probably easier to do this by Direction Entry. In your case, you should set the Rotation About Local Y to 90 degrees, in both Joint Axes on Structure A and Joint Axes on Structure B. The structure positions may look a bit strange when you have only set the axis alignment on one side, but they will go back to normal once you set the alignment on the other side as well.
I hope this helps!

ok I can already change the position.tq.
I want ask again:
1) If I want to calculate joint force in the AQWA hydrodynamic response.
At picture A, I should key in detail data or hinge connector has the default stiffness data?
2) if I should key in the data what is the formula for hinged data?

Hello,
For a hinge joint the default stiffness is zero around the free rotational freedom (local joint X axis). There is no formula for defining the stiffness or damping, but the Aqwa Theory Manual explains how the values are used, and also how the friction coefficients are defined: 8.1.2. Effect of Articulation Stiffness, Damping and Friction (ansys.com).
