CFD Post not launching through Workbench

      Hi everyone,

I have the newest release of ANSYS (2020 R1) and I recently set up a case for heat transfer in a cube. I was able to set up the case and run it without any errors. Furthermore, I am able to visualize the results within the Solution tab of Fluent.

When I exit fluent and open CFD-Post or Results as standalone, I am facing some trouble. It doesn't launch properly and if I hover over the icon on the taskbar, it simply shows a blank white screen. It also does not give me any errors. When I double click on results in the Fluent tree, it says says 'Starting CFD-Post...' on the bottom left.

Even when I drag Results from the component systems on the left, it gives the same error.

Interestingly, this was not an issue until a week ago. Everything was working well and I could open CFD Post and import additional data files. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing 2019R3 as well as 2020R1, however, the problem persists.

      I'd appreciate your help!

Here is a snapshot of what hovering over the PST button on the taskbar looks like (nothing happens upon clicking it):

It might be the graphics card. Could you please force the CFD post application to use your graphics card (not the onboard one)?

      Thanks.

Hover your mouse over the PST button on the taskbar. Then, press Shift and right click on the PST button at the same time. Then hit Maximize(X). You will see CFD-Post window back.nGood luck!Arrayn
