After installing ANSYS 2023R2 on a new workstation, there is an error that pops up when trying to open CFD post, as shown below. The previous simulation results file (.cst) is also unusable and does not include any of the data files, contours, or plots/lines created. Is anyone able to help this problem?
Error:
- An error occured initializing CFD-Post: Application error(s) occurred in CFD-Post. Please see the messages view for further details.
- No locators provided in location parameter 'Location List'.
- Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Did you install a new licence manager? The lack of options in Toolbox suggests you may not have, or may not have connected to the server.Â

No a new license manager hasn't been installed. It is also connected to the server since we can use Fluent and CFD post. It is just for this .cst file that the data is not appearing.

So, just that one file? Did you move a .cst, a Workbench folder or a Workbench archive (wbpz) over to the new machine?Â
