Hello all
I have made a front wing of f1 car in solidworks, and imported the geometry. Now after running 1 simulation, I want to optimize my design for drag minimization and maximization of lift. I looked for some resources but everywhere it was like we have to create the geometry in ansys itself and decide the parameters therein. But how to do that for an imported CAD model. Please help me out with some resources.
Thank You

If the CAD was imported then you may want to look at the mesh morphing options in Fluent. Otherwise you may need to rebuild the CAD or find another way of linking the parameters.

Could you please provide me with some resources or documentation of mesh morphing options in Fluent?

Start with the documentation, there may be some videos in addition to the User's Guide.

Hello, you can import the existing CAD in Ansys Discovery and then use Ansys Discovery CAD for further steps.
To know more on supported file types for CAD imports in Ansys Discovery, please refer to a section of Ansys Discovery documentation whose link is given below.Supported File Types for Import and Export (ansys.com)
To know how to clean the CAD for use in CFD analysis, please have a look at the Lesson 1 Part 2 of the Ansys Innovation Course on External Aerodynamic Analysis of an FSAE Car, specially designed for student teams. The link of the lesson is given below.
