With the thermal model enabled in Rockey, the 2-way Fluent coupled CFD-DEM simulation runs fine. When I enable the CFD-Coupled Particle Drying module, it shows errors. My Fluent setup is a single-phase air, water vapour mixture. I'm simulation a 2-way Fluent coupled simulation in Rocky. The fluent and Rockey version is 2024R1. Please suggest steps to rectify the error. Thanks in advance.

To resolve errors when enabling the CFD-Coupled Particle Drying module in Rocky, follow these steps:

1. Verify version compatibility, Fluent / Rocky.
2. Review module configuration and parameters.
3. Analyze error logs from Fluent and Rocky.
4. Simplify the case to isolate the issue.
5. Consult the documentation, accessing the HELP MENU on Rocky superior toolbar:

Thanks for your reply.

The issue is resolved now. However, I'm currently facing a different problem. I notice that some of the particles suddenly vanish from the domain while the simulation runs. Can you please suggest a solution to the problem? Thanks in advance.

To solve this, try increasing the softening factor. For more information, consult the documentation, accessing the HELP MENU on Rocky superior toolbar MANUALS / USER MANUAL.
