SubscriberHi everybody,
Please I would like to ask you , if we use an academic version of Ansys Fluent in the case of a mesh exceeding the limit which is 500k cells, Fluent will start the simulation or not? because I have already tried it and it works but the results usualy diverge and it gives a wrong result !Â
Please to help me !!
Best regards .

Ansys EmployeeHi, Which academic product are you using?Â
If you are using ANSYS Student product or academic teaching product license then mesh limit is valid (Fluent can handle up to 512k cells). Academic research version can handle unlimited cells/elements.Â

SubscriberIf your simulation runs and it diverges, I don't think its an issue with the license. It certainly has something to do with the quality of your mesh or the setup of the simulation.
You can upload your workbench archive file and we could take a look at it. If you're not sure how to create and share a workbench archive file, please refer:Â Saving & sharing of Working project files in .wbpz format
