SubscriberHi,
I am new to ansys mechanical/apdl . I found this attached .cdb and .dat files of arterial stent simulation.
Wondering if I can export the settings and geometry for working inside the mechanical workbench .
Any output is very welcome.

SubscriberHi Jason,
Thanks. I am attaching the translated .wbpz
Do you have any clue about going further ?
The contents of .dat can be interpreted within workbench ?
Any output is very welcome.

SubscriberHi Alex,
The CDB file contains the mesh etc while the DAT file contains the solution procedures etc. The method discussed above imports the CDB but I am unaware of how you can directly import DAT into Workbench. If it is appropriate for your problem, I would recommend solving it natively in Ansys classic.
Kind regards,
Jason

SubscriberIs there any solution on the topic? I have the same issue that I cannot import the loads from a .cdb file that was exported from Hypermesh. The loads are present in the file (when opening it with notepad or so) but it only imports the constraints and the mesh but no loads. Is there a way to import the loads or to check where the problem is? The guides do not really help me with the issue.
