August 14, 2024 at 3:33 amtc2fhBbp_participantI'm a graduate student and I'd like to install lsdyna on one of our labs linux machines. I am unable to access the hosted executables, I am asked to log in to the ansys website (not the same as the learning forum) and it is unclear what login is required. It is not my Ansys educational account.ÂThe lsdyna executables located here:as listed on this page:ÂPlease let me know how I can install lsdyna on ubuntu linux, I already have an IP address to a full license available once I am able to install the software.Â

Hi Tien,
Install LS-Dyna using the instructions provided here: https://github.com/dastonmoy/LS-Dyna?tab=readme-ov-file#installation-in-the-office-computer (try to use the instructions available for the office computer)
Then, use the instructions from here to define some environmental variables and point to the license: https://lsdyna.ansys.com/download-install-overview/#section2
Check this thread (which, I think, was posted by you earlier) as well: https://innovationspace.ansys.com/forum/forums/topic/ls-dyna-ubuntu-install/
