Can someone help me?

My simulation is about cavity photonic crystal. Now I need to calculate the mode volume at cavity area. Before this, I used mode volume monitor. I get differents values. When I increase size of are mode volume monitor, the mode volume values will increase. So, I decides to used formula. Now I need to know what values Electric Field Energy Density and Maximum Energy Density from my PhC structure.

Thank you for posting on our forum!

The fact that you see variation on your results makes me think that you might have not done a concergence test: Convergence testing process for EME simulations. I am not quiet sure I understand what you are looking for regarding your calculation here, why are you looking for Electric Field Energy Density and Maximum Energy Density? Since your formula requires E(r) andpermittivity distribution?
